Alicudi - l'ultimo paradiso

Alicudi is the western-most island of the Liparian Archipelago, and at 5.1 km² also the smallest. It's steep volcanic cone is only accessible by stairs and footpaths. This makes for the extraordinarily unspoilt character of the island: no cars, clean air and amazing views are the backdrop of a very special, unhurried holiday.

Holger Stark has been living here for more than 20 years, making the island his home. Holger Stark is an inspired builder who restores the old and ruined farm houses of the island to their former glory. Some of these houses are available as holiday accommodation.
