Alicudi is the western-most island of the Liparian Archipelago. It's steep volcanic cone is only accessible by stairs and footpaths. This makes the extraordinarily unspoilt character of the island: no cars, clean air and amazing views are the backdrop of a very special unhurried place.

Since 1986 Holger Stark has been living on Alicudi, making the island his home. Holger is an inspired builder who restores the old and ruined houses of the island to their former glory. Miriam Degen has joined in 2013.
